ROLE OVERVIEW

The Junior Software Engineer will support the development and maintenance of Group's company internal ERP system and other digital projects managed by the IT Department. This role is ideal for a motivated fresh graduate or early-career developer who is eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced technology environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

ERP & System Development

  • Assist in planning ERP system enhancements
  • Assist in developing and enhancing ERP modules using Laravel and React
  • Assist in developing and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter, integrated with the internal ERP system
  • Handle bug fixing, code testing, and technical documentation
  • Support system deployment, monitoring, and performance optimisation
  • Assist in integrating the ERP with third-party systems (e.g. AutoCount, payment gateways)

Web & Application Maintenance

  • Update and maintain company websites and internal web applications
  • Develop new features based on user requirements and feedback
  • Ensure application performance, security, and uptime are maintained

Technical Support

  • Assist the IT Manager with day-to-day technical tasks
  • Document technical processes, user guides, and system configurations
  • Perform basic server monitoring and backup operations

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Software, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of PHP/Laravel/Flutter and/or JavaScript/React is an advantage
  • Understanding of relational databases (MySQL)
  • Ability to learn independently and work effectively in a small team
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply — training will be provided

Added Advantage

  • Hands-on experience with Laravel, React, or Inertia.js
  • Familiar with Git and version control workflows
  • Proficient in using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub, or OpenAI Codex in daily development work
  • Familiar with agentic development platforms and multi-agent workflows for autonomous task execution

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
