APPLICATION AND SERVICE ENGINEER

Job Description :

1. Handle all inquiries from clients, including oil & gas companies such as PETRONAS.

2. Cover products including valves, pipe fittings, electrical & instrumentation (E&I) items, consumables, and related industrial materials.

3. Liaise and coordinate with clients throughout the entire sales

4. Source quotations from suppliers and explore potential vendors.

5. Review client RFQ, ITB, PO, and technical specifications.

6. Prepare and submit quotations via client platforms such as SMART GEP, SUS Portal, Lapasar, ARIBA, and other procurement systems.

7. Ensure technical accuracy before submission.

8. Interpret GA drawings, isometric drawings, and technical datasheets.

9. Cross-check item specifications against project standards (e.g., API, ASTM, ASME).

10. Verify drawing revisions before quotation submission and final confirmation.

11. Ensure compliance with project requirements and approved vendor list

12. Verify Mill Test Certificate (MTC / Mill Cert) against PO requirements.

13. Ensure heat number, material grade, and chemical composition comply with specifications.

14. Verify ordered items against PO (size, pressure rating, end connection, material type).

15. Conduct pre-delivery inspection.

16. Assist logistics team in checking and verifying goods received from suppliers.

17. Ensure correct item quantity and specification before delivery.

18. Liaise effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
