Job Summary:

The Production Operator contributes to food processing operations by setting up his/her work stations, and handling the equipment within the plant to prepare food products and packaging. He/she is expected to adhere to food processing requirements, food safety parameters and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure that the food products manufactured are free from contaminants and safe for consumption.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Artistic Plating: Accurately slice and arrange fish on platters for retail display (e.g., Fish Slice Plating)
• Packaging & Sealing: Operate vacuum seal machines for sotong (squid) and fish fillets to ensure airtight quality
• Manual Processing: Perform prawn peeling and whole fish packing with care and attention to detail
• Precision Work: Weighing products to exact specifications and applying labels accurately
• Inventory Handling: Transferring processed goods and organizing stock within the production area

Required Qualifications and Attributes:

• Should be comfortable with repetitive work activities, working in accordance to schedules, operating machinery
• Exposure to physically demanding work conditions such as long-standing hours, cold temperatures
• Candidates are required to handle cartons up to 10kg
