Overview

We are seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to support the development and enhancement of enterprise applications within the banking and financial services domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend services, modern web applications, and API-driven solutions while ensuring high standards of security, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Develop scalable microservices and RESTful APIs to support business-critical banking applications.
  • Design and optimize relational databases, including schema design, indexing strategies, and SQL performance tuning.
  • Build responsive web applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Integrate applications with internal and external systems through APIs and messaging platforms.
  • Deploy, configure, and support applications running on Apache Tomcat.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and DevOps engineers throughout the SDLC.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and governance requirements within financial services environments.
  • Contribute to application modernization, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within banking, financial services, fintech, or payment environments.
  • 6–8+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
  • Solid understanding of database design principles, SQL development, table relationships, normalization, and indexing.
  • Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Experience deploying and maintaining applications on Apache Tomcat.
  • Proficiency with IntelliJ IDEA.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
