Job Summary

My Client is looking for a MEP Design Manager, to lead MEP design for mission-critical hyperscale data centre projects, ensuring technical excellence, multidisciplinary coordination, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage MEP design activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate design delivery across clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Review design submissions, design review, shop drawings, and technical documents for compliance.
• Ensure all designs meet project requirements, codes, and industry standards.
• Resolve technical and construction issues during design and execution stages.
• Oversee BIM coordination and integrated design development.
• Support tendering, RFQ/RFP, site coordination, testing & commissioning, and handover activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in M&E design or design management.
• Experience in data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Good understanding of MEP systems, coordination, and construction delivery.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Familiar with BIM/Revit and design coordination processes.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
