Key Responsibilities:
- Safety & Housekeeping: Implement workplace safety and health (WSH) protocols and maintain high standards of 5S/housekeeping in the workshop.
- Technical Interpretation: Interpret engineering drawings to support project execution and component fabrication.
- Mechanical Operations: Utilize hand tools and machinery to perform daily tasks and support assembly or repair operations.
- Maintenance & Servicing: Assist in the routine maintenance and servicing of mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure operational reliability.
- Quality & Measurement: Perform work measurement functions to ensure parts and components meet specified tolerances.
- Workflow Improvement: Actively support and contribute to work improvement activities (e.g., process optimization).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records and prepare technical documentation as required by the production or engineering department.
- Professional Development: Gain insight into the company’s organizational structure, business processes, and professional work culture.
- Solid foundation in mechanical principles and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
- Hands-on aptitude with mechanical hand tools and measuring equipment.
