Job Summary

IMPORTANT CRITERIA

- Driving license E

- Vocasional license GDL

- Having a passport (Enter Singapore)

To meet customers' needs by delivering goods in a timely, safe and courteous manner using car, van or lorry.

Perform variety of store activities and related work when required by your superior

Safe Driving:

Operate lorries or any vehicle in a safe and lawful manner.

Adhere to all road and traffic regulations.

Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy by performing daily vehicle checks

Loading and Unloading:

Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring they are properly secured to prevent damage during transit

Verify the accuracy of load against delivery documents.

Handle goods with care to avoid damage.

Qualifications:

Can Enter Singapore (Having a passport)

Valid lorry driving license.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods.

Good physical condition to handle the demands of loading and unloading goods

Clean driving record

Proven experience as a lorry driver or in a similar role.

Ability to lift heavy objects

Good knowledge of local and regional road networks.

Strong time management and organizational skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance

Delivery and Customer Service:

Deliver goods to customers on schedule

Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery times and locations.

Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional.

Problem-Solving:

Resolve any issues that arise during delivery, such as delays or delivery discrepancies.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.

Assist in other areas of the warehouse or logistics department as needed.

Communicate effectively with the logistics team to find solutions to any problems encountered on the road.

Monday to Friday

On call (Weekend jobs)

Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (Preferred)

Truck/ Lorry Driving: 2 years (Preferred)
