IT Project Manager – Network Infrastructure

Location: Subang, Selangor, Malaysia (Onsite)

Employment Type: Initial 6-Month Contract (Extendable)

Salary: Up to MYR 9,000 per month

We are looking for an IT Project Manager with a strong technical background in Network Engineering to join a leading enterprise environment. This role is ideal for professionals who can effectively manage infrastructure projects while remaining hands-on with enterprise networking technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate network infrastructure implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.
• Work closely with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of enterprise LAN and WLAN environments.
• Coordinate network security implementations and infrastructure enhancements.
• Monitor project timelines, risks, deliverables, and resource planning.
• Prepare project documentation, status reports, and technical documentation.
• Support High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Data Center initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure project milestones are achieved.

Required Skills & Experience

• Less than 5 years of experience in Network Engineering and/or IT Infrastructure Projects.
• Strong knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) deployment and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and Wi-Fi technologies.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center) and Software Defined Access (SDA).
• Good knowledge of Network Security technologies, including:
• Palo Alto Firewalls
• Cisco ASA / Firepower VPN
• Cisco ISE
• Bluecoat Proxy
• Exposure to Network Automation, scripting, or programming is an advantage.
• Understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR).
• Experience supporting Data Center Networks.
• Good communication, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills.
