Role Description

The Sales Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based at Eastern & Oriental Hotel in George Town. This position supports the sales team with daily sales activities, including handling inquiries, preparing proposals, following up with clients, and maintaining sales records.

Key responsibilities include coordinating sales documents and contracts, updating reports and databases, assisting with corporate, group, and supporting site inspections. The role also requires close communication with internal departments to ensure smooth handovers from sales to operations and a consistent client and guest experience.

Qualifications

Candidates should have:

• Experience or skills in Sales Coordination and Sales Operations
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic sales knowledge to support inquiry conversion
• Proficiency in email, word processing, and spreadsheets is required. Experience with PMS, CRM, or booking systems will be an added advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Relevant experience in hospitality, events, or a customer-facing role is preferred
• Ability to work full-time on-site in George Town
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage
• A professional attitude and ability to work well in a team
