Role Description This is a full-time Project Manager role based in Bayan Lepas with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and tracking milestones to ensure on-time, on-spec, and within-budget delivery of automation projects. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal engineering, procurement, production, and quality teams, as well as external vendors, expeditors, and customers to manage project requirements, risks, and changes. The role involves monitoring logistics and material flow, resolving issues related to expediting and inspection, preparing project documentation and status reports, and leading regular project meetings. The Project Manager will also support continuous improvement initiatives, contribute to process optimization, and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder coordination (e.g., Project Management).
  • Proficiency in expediting-related activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and components (e.g., Expeditor, Expediting).
  • Experience with inspection processes and quality checks for technical or automated systems (e.g., Inspection).
  • Knowledge of logistics management, including material flow, shipment coordination, and supplier follow-up (e.g., Logistics Management).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience managing technical, automation, or manufacturing projects, preferably in semiconductor or related high-tech industries.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Proficiency in common project management tools and office productivity software; familiarity with ERP or similar systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage multiple projects or tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
