Job Title : Piping Material Engineer (FPSO Topside Engineering)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Industry: Oil & Gas / FPSO

Experience: 10–12 Years

We are looking for an experienced Piping Material Engineer to join a leading FPSO Topside Engineering team.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering

10–12 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas / Offshore / FPSO projects

Strong experience in Piping Material Specifications (PMS) and Valve Material Specifications (VMS)

Knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASME B16.5/B16.47, API 6D, API 600, ASTM, NACE MR0175, DNV, and NORSOK standards

Experience supporting procurement activities, RFQs, technical bid evaluations, and vendor documentation reviews

Expertise in piping bulk materials, valves, specialty items, corrosion mitigation, and material compliance

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain PMS & VMS documents

Support procurement and vendor evaluation activities

Review material datasheets, MTRs, PMI plans, and QA/QC documentation

Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and project requirements

Provide technical support throughout engineering, procurement, and construction phases
