Job Summary:

A Senior Developer with 6-9 years of experience in Core Banking Remittance systems, specializing in Local and Bill Payment solutions. The role requires strong expertise in AS400/DB2 environments and RPG programming, with responsibilities spanning cash management, rate provision, GIRO, and instant payment integration. The candidate will also perform code reviews and contribute to automation and DevOps practices to enhance deployment efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Local and Bill Payment applications on AS400.

Support and enhance remittance functionalities within Core Banking systems.

Implement and optimize cash management and rate provision processes.

Develop and integrate GIRO and instant payment solutions.

Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless remittance services.

Contribute to automation and CI/CD practices for AS400 deployments.

Required Skills

Strong expertise in RPG programming

Hands-on experience with AS400/DB2

Knowledge of Local and Bill Payment systems

Experience in cash management, rate provision, GIRO, and instant payment

Proficiency in code review practices

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Remittance solutions Familiarity with DevOps practices

Knowledge of ALDON (automation of software deployment on AS400)

Exposure to ARCAD for software lifecycle management
