Job Description:

• Excellent communication skills to convey the strategy and expectations to different audiences and able to present planograms clearly and persuasively.
• Design planograms that are attractive, functional and profitable with attention to detail in data, colour, composition, and a good understanding of consumer psychology and behaviour.
• Able to balance aesthetics and practicality as well as adapt to changing customer needs and preferences.
• Equipped with industry knowledge to stay updated on the latest trends, best practices, and regulations.
• Familiar with the products, categories and segments as well as aware of the legal, ethical, and environmental implications of merchandising decisions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends in furniture and home decor to continuously improve visual merchandising standards and customer shopping experience.
• Strategically position products to highlight key features, new arrivals, and promotional items, ensuring a cohesive and engaging customer journey.
• Maintaining all VM standards by continually reviewing product placement and merchandise layout to maximize opportunities.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail visual merchandising, preferably within an FMCG retail environment, furniture, or home décor industry.
• Diploma or Degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Strong visual design, styling, and space planning capabilities with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Proficient in design and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other relevant software will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of retail trends, consumer behaviour, and in-store experience optimization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage administrative duties and documentation efficiently.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, hands-on, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Passionate about home living, interior styling, and retail presentation.
• Willing and able to travel between retail locations and possess own transportation.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
