Role Overview

We are seeking a Margin Operations Analyst to support daily collateral and margin management activities within the Financial Markets Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for margin call processing, collateral movements, reconciliation activities, dispute investigation, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process daily margin calls and collateral movements accurately and within deadlines.
• Monitor and reconcile margin exposures, collateral balances, and trade sensitivities.
• Investigate and resolve margin disputes and discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records within collateral management systems.
• Liaise with Front Office, Credit Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Technology, and Operations teams to resolve operational issues.
• Support daily operational activities while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, testing activities, and operational projects.
• Escalate operational risks, exceptions, and control issues appropriately.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking, Business, or related disciplines.
• Experience in Margin Operations, Collateral Management, Capital Markets Operations, Treasury Operations, Securities Operations, Clearing Operations, or related functions is preferred.
• Understanding of derivatives, OTC products, collateral management, or financial markets is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From RM5,000.00 per month
