Responsibilities:
- Support and implement Quality, Environmental, Food Safety, and Occupational Safety & Health objectives for the Maintenance Section.
- Manage and maintain mechanical processes to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operations.
- Conduct HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP activities related to Food Safety Management.
- Ensure measuring equipment is calibrated, maintained, and protected.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers on maintenance matters.
- Implement preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Drive cost-saving, energy conservation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Monitor housekeeping, environmental compliance, and maintenance records.
- Support risk assessment, waste management, audits, corrective actions, and legal compliance activities.
- Identify training needs and provide guidance to team members.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management.
Authorities:
- Approve overtime and leave permits for subordinates.
- Plan manpower requirements for the Maintenance Section.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in maintenance operations within manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Food Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management Systems preferred.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Additional Requirements:
· Knowledge of AutoCAD and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
· Able to prepare technical drawings and manage maintenance planning records.
· Experience in using maintenance management software will be an added advantage

Pay: From RM2,600.00 per month
