Business Analyst Intern (IT & Software Solutions)

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and documenting business and system requirements.
• Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Support software implementation and system enhancement projects.
• Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) reports, and presentations.
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders and project teams.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and issue tracking.
• Conduct market and industry research to support business initiatives.
• Support project coordination and progress tracking.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic understanding of business processes, software systems, or data analysis is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of business processes and process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with requirements gathering and documentation such as BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to perform gap analysis, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, databases, data analysis, or reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.
• Exposure to User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test cases, and issue tracking.
• Basic understanding of ERP, CRM, Finance, HR, Inventory, or other business systems.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Trello, *************, Lucidchart, Visio, Power BI, or similar platforms is a plus.
