Application Solution Architect

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Application Solution Architect to design, define, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing application solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, developers, DevOps teams, and enterprise architects to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

This role focuses on application architecture, solution design, modernization initiatives, integration strategies, and technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end application architectures aligned with business requirements and technology standards.
• Translate business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable application solutions.
• Develop solution designs, architecture documents, and technical roadmaps.
• Lead application modernization and transformation initiatives.
• Define application architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, data, and infrastructure teams.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout project delivery.
• Review application designs and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Design application integrations across APIs, databases, and enterprise platforms.
• Support technical governance, design reviews, and architecture decision-making.
• Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and operational requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Application Architecture or Solution Architecture roles.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong understanding of application architecture principles and software development lifecycle.
• Experience with application modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and system connectivity.
• Experience with database architecture and application data flows.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Strong knowledge of security, scalability, and performance considerations.

Technical Skills

Experience with one or more of the following:

• Cloud application architecture
• Microservices architecture
• REST APIs and integration patterns
• Container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
• CI/CD tools and automation frameworks
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Application monitoring and observability tools
• Programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, or JavaScript

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in enterprise technology environments.
• Experience supporting cloud migration and application modernization programs.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Relevant cloud or architecture certifications.

Experience:

• Solution Architecture: 10 years (Preferred)
