About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and technology-focused .NET Developer with 3+ years of professional experience to join our core engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications, robust RESTful APIs, and cloud-native services.

Operating in a modern DevOps-driven enterprise environment, you will leverage Microsoft Azure, advanced asynchronous programming, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of code quality, masters complex database management, and thrives in an Agile ecosystem.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Application Lifecycle: Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain robust web applications, RESTful APIs, console applications, and background worker services.
• Database & Performance Optimization: Architect efficient SQL Server schemas, write complex stored procedures, and profile queries to optimize data layer performance.
• Integrations & Security: Implement secure third-party API integrations and manage identity management using JWT and OAuth protocols.
• Asynchronous & Event-Driven Systems: Build asynchronous processes, background workflows, and implement messaging systems using message queues.
• Production Support & DevOps: Provide active production support, troubleshoot system bottlenecks, perform root-cause analysis, and deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines.
• Code Governance: Write clean, testable code adhering to architectural patterns, maintain source control integrity, and actively participate in code reviews.

3. Required Technical Skills

• Core .NET Ecosystem: Strong hands-on proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Web API.
• Data Access Layer: Deep expertise in Entity Framework (EF) and DAPPER for Object-Relational Mapping.
• Database Management: Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, and minimum experience with MongoDB and MySQL including database design, writing stored procedures, and database performance tuning.
• Asynchronous Programming: Mastery of async/await patterns, multi-threading, and concurrent programming paradigms.
• Web Frontend Fundamentals: Hands-on experience with modern web basics: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap.
• Security & Authentication: Experience implementing secure systems using token-based authentication (JWT, OAuth).
• Background Processing: Proven experience working with background job processing engines such as Hangfire (Preferred) or Quartz.NET.
• Logging & Monitoring: Practical application of enterprise logging frameworks (e.g., Serilog (Preferred), NLog, Log4Net) alongside Application Insights.

4. Preferred Skills

• Workflow Automation: Experience building low-code workflows and system integrations using Power Automate (Preferred).
• Frontend Frameworks: Professional experience or strong knowledge of React.js.
• Message Queues: Experience with distributed messaging tools like RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
• Containerization: Hands-on familiarity with containerizing workloads using Docker.
• Advanced Architectural Concepts: Strong foundational knowledge of Microservices Architecture, SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, Repository Pattern, and Clean Architecture.

5. Qualifications & Experience

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on software development experience focusing on the Microsoft tech stack in an enterprise setup.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or Advanced Diploma) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field from a recognized institution (MQA-approved or equivalent). Candidates with a strong portfolio and equivalent practical industry experience are also highly encouraged to apply.
• Methodologies: Experience working in fast-paced Agile / Scrum software development teams.
• Tooling: Proficient command over distributed source control using Azure DevOps (Preferred) or Git (GitHub, GitLab, or Azure Repos).
