Job Title: IT Business Analysis Specialist


Role Summary

The IT Business Analysis Specialist acts as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions across core applications. This role is responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into actionable technical requirements, and supporting end-to-end delivery in an Agile environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements for new and existing applications.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects and development teams to ensure solutions align with technical constraints and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Lead requirement refinement and grooming sessions to ensure clarity and shared understanding across teams.
  • Act as the primary liaison between product management and engineering during sprint execution.
  • Support testing activities including test strategy definition, test case validation, UAT coordination, and release readiness.
  • Own and maintain high-quality business analysis artifacts, process documentation, and requirement traceability.
  • Contribute to sprint planning, release planning, and continuous improvement initiatives within Agile frameworks.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field (BE/BTech/MCA/MTech or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis within technology-driven environments.
  • Strong expertise in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate business requirements to technical teams.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with SQL and Oracle-based data environments.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Business Analysis certifications (IIBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent).
  • Prior experience in the Insurance and/or Financial Services domain.
  • Exposure to AI technologies and ability to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions.
