As a Cafe Chef / Commis / Kitchen Crew, you will play a key role in preparing and delivering quality food while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to the Company's recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Assist in daily food preparation, ingredient portioning, and kitchen setup.
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen at all times.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of ingredients and food products.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing deliveries and supplies.
- Support menu development, food presentation improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives when required.
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth daily operations and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with catering, birthday parties, special events, and other activities hosted at the cafe.
- Perform opening and closing duties and other kitchen-related tasks as assigned by management.
