Senior Asset Integrity Engineer (piping & Static)
Job Purpose
Responsible for formulating, executing, and coordinating integrity management programs for static mechanical equipment, such as pressure vessels, piping systems, and pressure relief devices, throughout the project execution cycle. This role ensures that inspection, testing, and verification requirements are properly integrated into design, construction, and commissioning deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for integrity-related matters during the project phase, working closely with the Project Team, ORA group, and the corporate Asset Integrity Management (AIM) function.
- Develop and apply integrity strategies for static equipment and piping systems in alignment with project and corporate standards.
- Prepare scopes of work and oversee the engagement of RBI service providers.
- Manage tendering processes, including evaluation and selection of contractors.
- Contribute to design reviews, DDE sessions, and risk-based technical assessments.
- Establish inspection plans covering corrosion management, risk-based inspection, and verification activities.
- Evaluate inspection reports and ensure compliance with integrity requirements.
- Review design change notifications (DCNs) and Management of Change (MOC) submissions.
- Work with maintenance teams to support the setup and enhancement of CMMS data and maintenance routines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in offshore project execution or integrity management, especially within FPU/FPSO/FSO environments.
- Demonstrated background in inspection and integrity oversight for static equipment and piping systems.
- Strong understanding of API and ASME codes and standards.
- Proven leadership skills and strong analytical capability.
- Good familiarity with construction and commissioning activities for FPUs.
- Proficient in RBI methodologies and CMMS platforms.
- Understanding of ORA workflows and the integrity risks related to piping and static equipment.
