Full Time RADIOGRAPHER Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,850 in Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara (THKD) Selangor - Maukerja

Minimum requirements: Certificate of Competency awarded by the School of Radiology, Ministry of health, or Conjoint Boards of Radiologists and Radiographers, Australia, or Diploma in Radiography (Malaysia recognition).

Performs general radiography examinations in accordance with the policies and procedures applicable to the radiology room.

Performs special procedures whenever called upon.

Maintain the cleanliness and daily preparation for all the Imaging operation room including VIR and Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath lab) Centre.

Assisting the Radiologist, Cardiologist and Clinical Specialist in all special procedures that require guidance from Imaging Equipments whenever necessary.

Performs daily ‘check up’ and ‘start up’ procedure for all Imaging equipments according to the guidelines recommended by its respective company early in the morning.

Patient’s Identification and request forms have to be checked in detail before ushering the patient into the changing room and also before performing the Imaging procedure. This is to ensure the correct Imaging procedure is done on the correct patient.

Selecting proper protocols and projections according to departmental policies and procedure’s guidelines.

Carries out the code of practice for radiation protection.

Ensure that proper film size, protocol or parameter selection and exposure selection control are used during procedures

Post processing (editing) of the acquisition data, verification of the patient’s identification on the films, correct markers, optimization on the density, etc. has to be done before sending in the film for reporting.

Required to be on stand-by duty after office hour according to the on-call duty roster.

Assists Senior Radiographer in daily routine operations according to the work-flow of the department.

Involve in the coordination of imaging department’s activities in collaboration with other departments to ensure the efficiency of the service is delivered.

All other additional duties within the department will be carried out when instructed by the Senior Radiographer & the Assistant Manager, or Manager of Imaging.
