Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our team specializing in aluminium and glass works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, shop drawings, and production details for aluminium and glass projects while ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare AutoCAD drawings for tender and project purposes, including:
  • Shop drawings
  • Fabrication drawings
  • As-built drawings
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of drawings according to project schedules.
  • Maintain proper filing and organization of all drawing records in the company server.
  • Continuously update the AutoCAD drawing library with new aluminium and glass details.
  • Responsible for material quantity take-off and drawing coordination.
  • Coordinate closely with project, production, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and smooth project execution.
  • Revise drawings based on project requirements and site conditions.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in:
  • Civil / Structural / Construction Engineering
  • Architecture
  • Or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in aluminium, glass, construction, or related drafting field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory).
  • Knowledge in MS Office and computer applications.
  • Able to read and interpret technical and construction drawings.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Experience in aluminium and glass systems will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
