We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive to manage the end-to-end purchasing process for food, beverages, kitchen supplies, and catering materials. The role ensures cost efficiency, quality control, and timely supply to support daily operations and event/catering requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for F&B ingredients, beverages, and catering supplies
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or wastage
- Compare pricing, quality, and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Coordinate closely with kitchen, operations, and finance teams to forecast procurement needs
- Ensure all purchased items meet quality, hygiene, and food safety standards
- Track deliveries and resolve issues related to shortages, delays, or quality discrepancies
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier database
- Support cost control initiatives and monthly procurement reporting
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Hospitality, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years experience in procurement, preferably in F&B, catering, or hospitality
- Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills
- Good understanding of food costing, inventory control, and wastage management
- Able to work in a fast-paced catering/operations environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic procurement systems
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Willing to work flexible hours when required (events/catering support)
Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
