Job Summary

• Play the roles of project manager, business system analyst & software quality engineer, for site level software solution projects, following client's company procedures & processes.
• Provide services to maintain software solutions uptime delivered by site IT, regional IT & global IT, following client's company procedures & processes.
• Support compliance related activities, including but not limited to audit, documentations, inspections & etc., from the aspect of supported software solutions, to ensure client's company is meeting all the regulations & standards, required to conduct our business.
• Provide general IT guidance to meet operations needs to conduct our business, following client's company procedures & processes.
• Provide shadowing of management responsibilities for IT Functional Manager or delegate, following client's company procedures & processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-develop business/operation processes and provide process evaluation and justification report to IT Manager.
• Evaluating and analyzing computerize systems request for both new and existing computer system. Provide business impact analysis to core project team and IT Manager.
• Develop new system analysis report for justification. Details requirements and new systems' specification and flowchart.
• Co-develop test data, method and procedure for new systems testing. Document test result, evaluate and benchmark with implementation data
• Coordinate new systems testing and give approval to systems implementation.
• Develop system implementation plan by define timelines, resources, budgets and activities.
• Liaise with corporate development team to define priority, resource availability and standard of implementation.
• Attend available trainings to learn about new & existing software solutions to maintain. Share knowledge gained to peers to work collectively to maintain uptime, following client's company procedures & processes, to align to client's company goals & strategies. Coordinate the activities of proliferation & adoption for software solutions, to or from other client's company sites.
• Continue to work cross functional teams to ensure compliance related activities, from the aspect of supported software solutions, are executed timely, correctly & completely.
• Serve as an IT representative of the IT Functional Manager to provide general IT guidance to operations members, when approached.
• Contribute to establishing IT related procedures & standards, to align to client's company goals & strategies.
• Contribute to delivering services that is with quality built in and meeting customer/operation expectations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Academic Credentials

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Management & Computer Information System

Preferred Experience & Requirement

• Minimum 5 years demonstrated project management experience.
• Sounds knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning tools and manufacturing's logistic planning process.
• Analytical ability and skill to read business requirements
• Posses sound knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning tools, Material Resource Planning tools, Relational Database systems, systems development cycle methodology.
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to train others are required.
• Team oriented with the ability to self-direct, prioritize projects and able to focus on the multiple projects
• Strong organizational skills, customer skills & project management and planning skills including the ability to accurately. forecast deadline and meet them.
• "Forward Thinker" - Ability to present new ideas to both site and global teams.
• Must be available for On-Call Assistance 24x7.

This is a contract role based in Penang

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
