Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative will be based in Malaysia and responsible for driving revenue growth in the Singapore market. This role focuses on acquiring and managing customers through remote sales channels, including phone, email, and virtual meetings. The ideal candidate is commercially driven, culturally aware of the Singapore business environment, and comfortable selling to customers remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a sales pipeline for customers based in Singapore
- Conduct outbound prospecting and follow up on inbound leads via phone, email, and virtual platforms
- Qualify prospects, understand customer needs, and recommend appropriate solutions
- Deliver virtual product presentations and sales demonstrations tailored to the Singapore market
- Negotiate pricing and close deals in accordance with company guidelines
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain accurate sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions in the CRM system
- Collaborate with marketing, customer success, and regional sales teams to support customer acquisition and retention
- Stay informed on Singapore market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 1–3 years of inside sales, telesales, or business development experience
- Experience selling to Singapore-based customers preferred
- Strong communication skills with professional English proficiency
- Comfortable working across borders and time zones
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and virtual selling platforms
- Target-driven, self-motivated, and resilient
Preferred Qualifications
- B2B sales experience in the Singapore market
- Experience in [SaaS / Technology / Financial Services / FMCG / Other relevant industry]
- Familiarity with consultative or solution selling
