Sales Executive / Senior Sales Executive

Location: Remote (Central to Northern Malaysia)

Industry: Manufacturing / Food Ingredients / Oleochemical

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Executive / Senior Sales Executive to manage and grow customer accounts across Central and Northern Malaysia. This is a remote-based field sales role, responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring smooth coordination between customers and internal teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop customer accounts within the assigned territory (Central & Northern Malaysia).
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and understand market needs.
  • Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and follow up on customer orders.
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Monitor sales performance, customer demand, and market trends.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field.
  • Sales Executive: Minimum 2–3 years sales experience.
  • Senior Sales Executive: Minimum 5 years sales experience, preferably managing key accounts.
  • Experience in food ingredients, oleochemical, chemicals, or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Willing to travel frequently within Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Able to work independently in a remote-based environment.
