Role Description The Site Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate with project managers, contractors, and consultants, and ensure that work progresses according to plans, timelines, and safety standards. Responsibilities include supervising construction activities, monitoring structural and civil works, implementing quality control procedures, and resolving technical and site-related issues in a timely manner. The role involves conducting inspections, preparing site reports, verifying compliance with design specifications and regulations, and supporting the delivery of projects within budget and schedule. The Site Engineer will also participate in site meetings, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement of construction practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills and experience managing day-to-day construction activities.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with project teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess quality control and inspection skills to ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge relevant to building and infrastructure projects.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in building construction, A&A, or civil engineering projects in Singapore is an advantage.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety practices is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications, and to use basic construction-related software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
