We are seeking an experienced Offshore Structural Engineer to support offshore oil & gas projects involving the design, analysis, and execution of offshore structures. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in offshore topsides, jackets, and substructures, with hands-on expertise in structural analysis and EPC project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for offshore facilities, including topsides, jackets, and substructures.
- Conduct in-place, fatigue, load-out, lifting, and pile drivability analyses.
- Prepare structural calculations, technical reports, and engineering documentation.
- Support engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project execution activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver project objectives.
- Review and validate structural designs, analysis models, and engineering deliverables.
- Provide technical support during project execution, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of offshore structural engineering experience.
- Proven experience in offshore oil & gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of offshore topsides, jackets, and substructure design.
- Experience performing:
- Structural analysis for offshore facilities
- Load-out analysis
- Lifting analysis
- Pile drivability analysis
- In-place analysis
- Fatigue analysis
- Familiarity with offshore engineering codes and standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
