Role Description The Event Coordinator role at Saora+ is a full-time, on-site position based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Event Coordinator will plan and execute events that promote Saora+’s mission, including community outreach programs, stakeholder engagements, and partnership-focused activities. Daily responsibilities include coordinating logistics, managing event timelines and budgets, liaising with vendors and partners, and ensuring a smooth experience for attendees. The role involves preparing event materials, handling on-site setup and breakdown, managing registrations and inquiries, and capturing feedback to improve future events. The Event Coordinator will also collaborate with internal teams to align events with broader organizational goals and support post-event reporting and documentation.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Event Planning and Event Management skills to organize and deliver successful programs.
  • Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for engaging stakeholders, partners, and community members.
  • Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide a welcoming and responsive experience to event participants.
  • Candidates should possess basic Sales and outreach skills to support sponsorships, partnerships, and participant recruitment.
  • Relevant experience coordinating events, community programs, or social enterprise initiatives is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines are required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and communities, with a commitment to social impact and sustainability.
  • Proficiency in common office and event management tools; fluency in English, with additional local languages considered an advantage.
