We are seeking a skilled CNC Technician / Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines and related manufacturing equipment. The successful candidate will ensure optimal machine performance, minimize downtime, and support production operations through preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and production equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system faults.
- Troubleshoot CNC machine issues, including servo motors, drives, spindles, PLCs, and machine controls.
- Conduct machine alignment, calibration, and accuracy checks.
- Repair or replace defective machine components and assemblies.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and spare parts inventory.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Assist in machine installation, commissioning, and relocation projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis activities.
RequirementsEducation
- Diploma, Certificate, or Technical Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance, troubleshooting, or manufacturing equipment maintenance.
- Experience with CNC machining centers, turning centers, milling machines, or automated production equipment.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain, or Mazak.
- Understanding of PLC systems and industrial automation.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Proficient in using maintenance tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
- Knowledge of CNC programming and machining processes.
- Certification in electrical maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, or industrial automation.
- Experience in ISO-compliant manufacturing environments.
Working Conditions
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when required.
- Ability to lift equipment and work in manufacturing environments.
- Willingness to respond to machine breakdowns and emergency maintenance situations.
