Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Process Engineer role based in Ipoh. The Process Engineer will develop, optimize, and maintain semiconductor assembly and test processes to meet quality, yield, and productivity targets. Daily responsibilities include monitoring process performance, analyzing data, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing corrective and preventive actions. The role involves collaborating closely with manufacturing, equipment, quality, and R&D teams to introduce new products, qualify new materials or methods, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Process Engineer will also prepare technical documentation, participate in audits, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Process Engineering and Process Design skills for developing and improving semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Candidates should possess Process Control and Analytical Skills to monitor performance, interpret data, and drive data-informed decisions.
• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical) relevant to semiconductor processing.
• Relevant experience in semiconductor assembly, test, or high-volume manufacturing environments is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work effectively in cross-functional teams are expected.
• Good communication skills in English, proficiency with statistical tools and manufacturing software, and familiarity with quality systems (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Lean, Six Sigma) are advantageous.
