Role Description The Business Development Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Puchong. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and building strong relationships with project partners, SMEs, and system integrators. Day-to-day activities include conducting market research, preparing and delivering presentations to prospective clients, and collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions. The Business Development Associate develop business, follow up on inquiries, manage a sales pipeline, and support the execution of marketing and outreach activities to expand ALMA’s customer base. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of client interactions, monitoring market trends, and providing feedback to management to refine business strategies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Presentation Skills and experience creating and delivering effective Presentations to varied audiences.
- Candidates should possess skills in Lead Generation and Market Research to identify prospects and understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage clients and collaborate with internal teams.
- Experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in CCTV, ICT, or related technology sectors.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and work effectively with SMEs and project-based businesses.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple opportunities and deadlines.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, office productivity software, and basic data analysis to track performance and outcomes.
- Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Engineering, or a related field is advantageous; equivalent experience will be considered.
