Operate grinding machines and ensure the production of high-quality, precision-finished parts. The ideal operator has strong attention to detail, experience with manual or CNC grinding equipment, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate surface, cylindrical, or centerless grinding machines to meet production specifications
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
• Set up machines: select wheels, adjust speeds/ feeds, and align parts
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy using micrometers, calipers gauges, and other precision instruments
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain tolerances
• Performing preventive maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions
• Housekeeping in accordance of 5'S
• Often collaborates with other team members, including Supervisor, engineers, inspectors, and other welders

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to interpret drawing symbols, fabrication technical drawing and process sheet
• Proficiency with measurement tools and quality inspection techniques
• Strong knowledge of machining principles and materials (steel, alloys, etc)

Job Types: Permanent, Contract
