Role Description

This is a full-time Interior Designer role in a hybrid work arrangement, based in Woodlands with some flexibility to work from home. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare mood boards, and create detailed layouts that align with client requirements and project budgets. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and preparing or reviewing construction drawings and documentation. The role involves meeting with clients, conducting site visits and measurements, collaborating with contractors and suppliers, and overseeing design implementation to ensure quality and consistency. The Interior Designer will also support project timelines, maintain organized project files, and contribute to presentations and design proposals.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client needs into cohesive design concepts.
• Knowledge of Architecture principles relevant to interior projects, including building codes and basic structural considerations.
• Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings and related technical documentation.
• Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including materials, finishes, and furnishings.
• Competence in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar) and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; professional portfolio showcasing past projects is required.
