Role Description This full-time hybrid role is based in Singapore River, with flexibility for some work from home. The Software Engineer / Developer / Application Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software applications, features, and system integrations. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, reviewing and testing software components, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, QA, and support. The role also involves contributing to technical documentation, participating in code reviews, improving development processes, and providing application-level support when needed to ensure reliable performance and a positive user experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Software Development skills, including experience with modern programming languages, frameworks, and application design.
• Candidates should possess Technical Support skills to troubleshoot issues, assist users or clients, and ensure stable operation of deployed applications.
• Candidates should possess Testing skills, including unit, integration, and system testing, and familiarity with automated testing tools and practices.
• Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering knowledge if working on solutions that integrate software with hardware or embedded systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on code quality and reliability.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in hybrid teams across onsite and remote settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with version control systems, agile or iterative development methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices is beneficial.
