Skills:

L3 Application Support Engineer to ensure 24/7 reliability, performance, and security of critical banking applications.

You’ll own complex incident resolution, drive automation to reduce manual toil, and partner with Dev, Security, and Business teams to maintain high availability and compliance.

Core Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

1. System Reliability & Availability Management  Provide L3 application support with continuous monitoring of critical production banking apps to ensure maximum uptime  Rapidly triage, diagnose, and resolve P1/P2 incidents while meeting corporate financial SLAs  Perform daily health checks, system updates, patches, and proactive monitoring to detect anomalies before business impact  Support DR drills and lead high-severity incident response with swift troubleshooting to maintain system resilience

 2. DevOps Engineering & Automation  Manage and support application deployments, automated configurations, and batch jobs via CI/CD pipelines  Identify, prioritize, and remediate system vulnerabilities/security flaws per compliance standards  Track EOS/EOL software components and plan technical upgrades to ensure system integrity and regulatory compliance  Design and implement automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash, Python to eliminate repetitive tasks and streamline maintenance/reporting

 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Environment Control  Work closely with developers, vendors, security/compliance teams, and business units to investigate issues and deliver long-term fixes  Coordinate and execute change/release management across Dev, UAT, and Production to maintain environment uniformity  Author and maintain technical runbooks, incident post-mortems, and engineering documentation to empower L1/L2 support and onboarding  Key Skills
