• Develop detailed project plans that align with company and project goals.
• Establish Project Measurement System (PMS) and Progress S-Curve utilizing Earned Value Method.
• Monitor project progress and adjusting as necessary to ensure successful completion on schedule and within budget.
• Utilize specialist project management software; Oracle Primavera P6 to track project and create visual representations of timelines.
• Track progress, facilitate schedule status communication and maintaining the project scheduling tool and supporting documentation.
• Prepare Weekly & Monthly Progress Report.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments and progress.
• Provides recommendations to the Project Manager to avert schedule variances that may adversely affect the project budget, expenditures or critical path.
• Accountable to Project Manager and retains responsibility for overall project controls, project schedules development, contingency planning and progress reporting.
• Liaise with External and Internal as and when necessary.
• Conduct Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) to anticipate and mitigate potential delays and cost overruns.
• Facilitate team meetings and coordinate efforts to ensure coherence and adherence to the project’s strategic direction.
• Evaluating the project’s success post-completion to identify lessons learned and areas of improvement for future projects.
• Review and verify subcontractor & vendor progress reports.
• Consolidate all the report from each discipline into Weekly & Monthly Progress Reports.
• Collaborate with Project Director, Project Manager & Project Engineer in preparation of Project Sponsor meeting’s material.

Job Qualification & Competencies

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with Honors.
• 10 years of working experience particularly in project planning and scheduling.
• Experienced in EPCC project for Oil & Gas, Power Plant, Semiconductor & General Industry.
• Well-versed in project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar tools.
• Obtained Google Project Management: Professional Certificate.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in managing complex dataset.
• Able to work or relocate to Sipitang, Sabah for this position

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
