About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Leader in SMT (Surface Mount Technology) to drive manufacturing strategy for next-generation AI and high-performance computing hardware.

This role is ideal for a recognized expert who combines deep technical knowledge with strategic thinking, and thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. You will play a key role in enabling high-yield, scalable, and rapid production of complex electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute SMT manufacturing strategies aligned with advanced AI product roadmaps
• Anticipate future manufacturing challenges and ensure readiness for high-density, high-power designs
• Establish and standardize design-for-manufacturability (DFM) practices

Process Innovation & Engineering

• Develop and implement advanced SMT processes across printing, placement, reflow, and inspection
• Evaluate and adopt emerging manufacturing technologie
• Drive innovation in:

o Stencil design and solder paste optimization

o Thermal and warpage-sensitive assembly solutions

New Product Introduction (NPI) & Ramp

• Lead SMT readiness from early design phase through high-volume production
• Enable fast and smooth product ramp while maintaining high yield and quality
• Identify and mitigate process risks early in the lifecycle

Smart Manufacturing & Digitalization

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance factory automation and traceability
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with design engineering, R&D, quality, and suppliers
• Provide technical guidance to ensure manufacturability of complex products
• Act as escalation point for critical manufacturing and quality challenges
• Support implementation of Industry 4.0 initiatives:

o Data-driven yield improvement

o Predictive analytics and process monitoring

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM15,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
