Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and upgrade hardware components (RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, PSU, etc.).
• Perform routine maintenance, system checks, and preventive servicing.
• Assemble and test new computers according to specifications.
• Identify hardware faults and recommend repair or replacement solutions.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to users.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and service reports.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims and spare parts procurement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and company IT policies.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware architecture and components.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows-based systems (basic macOS/Linux knowledge is an advantage).
• Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI configuration and firmware updates.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, cables, routers, switches).
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant technical certifications (CompTIA A+, IT Support, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hardware support or technical servicing (fresh graduates may be considered).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
