Project Planning & Execution
- Develop, monitor, and update the master construction schedule to ensure timely project delivery.
- Coordinate day-to-day site operations, deploying manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently.
- Liaise closely with clients, main contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
Authority Submissions & Compliance
- Prepare and manage timely submissions to relevant regulatory authorities (e.g., BCA, LTA, PUB, NEA) for required permits and approvals.
- Ensure all civil and structural works strictly comply with local building codes, statutory regulations, and project specifications.
Budget & Cost Control
- Monitor project expenditures, track resource allocation, and ensure the project is completed within the approved budget.
- Evaluate and manage Variation Orders (VOs), progress claims, and subcontractor invoices.
- Identify potential cost overruns early and propose effective mitigation strategies.
Technical Coordination & Quality Assurance
- Review civil and structural drawings, resolve technical discrepancies, and address Requests for Information (RFIs) on-site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure construction meets design specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including method statements, site diaries, and daily progress reports.
Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)
- Enforce strict site safety protocols in collaboration with the Safety Officer.
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and ensuring all site activities comply with environmental and safety regulations.
