Role Description This is a Full time Hardware Engineer role based in Bayan Lepas. The Hardware Engineer will design, develop, and test electronic hardware components and systems, including circuit boards and related devices. Daily tasks include creating and reviewing circuit schematics, selecting components, performing simulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on product requirements and design reviews. The role involves debugging and troubleshooting hardware issues, documenting designs and test results, and supporting prototyping and production handover. The Hardware Engineer will also ensure compliance with relevant standards, contribute to continuous improvement of hardware design practices, and coordinate with suppliers or manufacturing partners as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong hardware development and computer hardware skills, with experience in end-to-end product lifecycle.
• Proficiency in circuit design and electronics hardware design, including schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Hands-on experience with hardware testing, debugging, and use of lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).
• Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and relevant communication interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet) is beneficial.
• Understanding of hardware reliability, safety, and compliance standards; exposure to EMC/EMI considerations is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to manage time effectively, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.
