Job Description of Finance executive – based in SG

1. Support Singapore sites on finance tasks:

• Supports the Site Managers on day-to-day Finance tasks
• Provide backup support in raising client POs, assisting the Operations team to ensure all purchase orders are prepared before work begins
• Tracking of Sodexo expenses incurred and ensuring payments to vendors are timely
• Monthly reporting and analysis of revenue, cost and profit
• Timely billing and collection of payments from Client, and escalation of collection issues
• Supports budgeting process, quarterly forecasts and plans
• Other coordination with Client’s team
• Invoicing and Reconciliation: Supports the Sodexo Country Operation & Finance teams to drive accurate and timely invoicing (reduce unbilled revenue as much as possible)
• Supports with the Sodexo Country Operation & Finance teams with the quarterly and year-end invoices reconciliation
• Drives timely & accurate submissions of Sodexo reporting to client
• Supports Site Managers in the presentation of external reporting to client
• Tracks Client’s spending on day-to-day basis
• Assist Client’s Site Lead in bi-annual budgetary exercise
• Other Standard packs to be coordinated with Client’s team

Profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations.
• Basic knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and financial reconciliation.
• Ability to support monthly closing, financial reporting, and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal stakeholders and finance teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and support the APAC finance team on financial matters
