Accounts Assistant

About the role
We're a boutique resort looking for an Accounts Assistant to support our finance and procurement team. You'll help keep our accounts accurate, our payments on time, and our paperwork in order.

What you'll do

• Handle daily cash transactions, documentation, and banking-in
• Help run internal audits and resolve cash float discrepancies across departments
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation
• Assist with financial statements, reports, and external audits
• Help analyse financial data and flag any red flags for the Head of Finance
• Support cost control and identify savings opportunities
• Process supplier payments accurately and on time
• Help manage accounting and procurement software
• Track and renew licenses and agreements and keep them properly filed
• Handle ad hoc admin tasks and special projects as needed

What you'll need

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Some experience in finance (hospitality experience a plus)
• Good attention to detail and analytical skills
• Comfortable with accounting software and MS Excel
• A team player with clear communication and good organisation

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
