About The Company

The Company is a fast-growing technology firm building data and AI products for enterprise and public-sector clients across Malaysia and ASEAN. We're hiring our foundation team and need a skilled DevOps / Cloud Engineer to design and operate the infrastructure, CI/CD, and deployment systems that power our platform.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer to build and operate cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, monitoring, and security practices. You'll own uptime, reliability, and security — ensuring our platform stays available, performant, and compliant for clients.

This is a hands-on infrastructure role where your decisions shape how resilient and scalable our systems are.

What You'll Do

• Design and operate cloud infrastructure — compute, storage, networking, databases, and services across AWS, GCP, Azure, or private cloud.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines — automation, testing, build, and deployment workflows.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code — Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent; version-controlled, repeatable, auditable.
• Operate monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability — keep systems healthy and incidents visible.
• Support sovereign deployment options for sensitive client environments (cloud, hybrid, on-premise).
• Lead security operations — vulnerability management, access controls, incident response, and ISO 27001-aligned practices.
• Optimise cloud costs — track spend, improve efficiency, and right-size resources.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or CI/CD tools.
• Security mindset — familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC2, or similar compliance frameworks.
• Comfortable working with developers, data engineers, and data scientists to support their infrastructure needs.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, networking, and troubleshooting.

Nice to Have

• Experience with data platforms or AI infrastructure.
• Exposure to government or regulated environments where compliance and sovereignty matter.
• Experience with cost optimisation and finops.
• Knowledge of containerisation orchestration at scale.
