The successful candidates will be responsible for developing, enhancing, testing and supporting enterprise web applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, SQL Server or MySQL, REST APIs and modern front-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET and .NET Core.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, web services and third-party systems.
• Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and database objects using SQL Server or MySQL.
• Develop responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Troubleshoot application defects, system errors and performance issues.
• Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, coding, testing and deployment.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding, security and quality standards.
• Use Git for source-code management, version control and collaboration.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with business analysts, testers, project managers and other developers.
• Support application enhancements, production issues and system implementation activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in .NET software development.

Strong programming knowledge in:

• C#
• ASP.NET
• .NET Core

Experience working with:

• SQL Server or MySQL
• REST APIs
• Web services
• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript
• Git
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle, debugging, testing and deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a development team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Angular or React.
• Experience developing enterprise-scale web applications.
• Experience working on government, tax, finance or regulatory systems.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development practices.
• Knowledge of secure coding and application performance optimisation.
