Job Summary

Amber Compounding Pharmacy is a specialised practice dedicated to personalised medication solutions. We work closely with prescribers and patients to provide customised therapies across dermatology, hormone optimisation, paediatrics, and integrative medicine. We seek a clinically competent and detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacist who will deliver precise compounded medications and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimise patient outcomes while upholding professional standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise the formulation of compounded medications, ensuring accuracy and safety in non-sterile preparations; apply sterile compounding skills if available to enhance service scope
• Review prescriptions for safety, stability, dosing accuracy, and compatibility to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes
• Collaborate with prescribers to optimise medication formulations tailored to individual patient needs
• Deliver clear and empathetic patient counselling to support understanding and adherence to personalised therapies
• Facilitate discussions on nutraceuticals and adjunct therapies to complement pharmaceutical care
• Ensure strict compliance with Singapore Pharmacy Council and Health Sciences Authority (HSA) standards to maintain regulatory adherence
• Maintain high-quality customer service within a specialised pharmacy environment, fostering patient trust and satisfaction

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in functional, integrative, or personalised medicine to support innovative patient care approaches
• Experience in compounding pharmacy; training available for suitable candidates to develop specialised skills
• Strong attention to detail and precision in formulation to ensure medication safety and efficacy
• Professional, warm, and patient-centred communication style to enhance patient engagement and relationship building
• Inclination towards customer service and relationship building to contribute to a supportive pharmacy culture
