Job Summary

Support kitchen operations by preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, assisting chefs with daily tasks, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items by following specified recipes and quality standards to support efficient kitchen operations
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment to maintain hygiene and ensure a safe food preparation environment
• Assist chefs with daily operational tasks to maintain smooth kitchen workflow and ensure timely food service
• Follow food safety protocols to ensure all prepared food complies with health and safety regulations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possess or willingness to obtain a WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate; training will be arranged for suitable candidates
• Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment to support team efficiency
• Demonstrate responsibility and a strong work ethic in daily kitchen tasks
• Previous experience in kitchen or food preparation roles is an advantage but not mandatory
• Willingness to undergo training provided by the employer
