Job Summary:
A Kitchen Assistant supports chefs and kitchen staff by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently while following food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, peel, chop, and prepare vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation and cooking tasks.
• Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans.
• Ensure food is stored correctly and safely.
• Receive and store deliveries of food and kitchen supplies.
• Dispose of waste and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Assist with setting up and closing down the kitchen.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift supplies.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not always required.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
