Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Leasing Executive role based in Greater Alor Setar. The Leasing Executive will be responsible for managing leasing activities for retail and commercial properties, including handling inquiries, conducting property viewings, and following up with prospective tenants. The role involves preparing and reviewing leasing documentation, coordinating tenancy renewals, and ensuring timely collection of rental and related payments. The Leasing Executive will monitor market trends, assist in rental rate benchmarking, and support marketing initiatives to attract and retain tenants. The role also requires maintaining accurate tenant records, building strong relationships with tenants and agents, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and occupancy of units.
Qualifications
  • Strong leasing, sales, and customer relationship skills, with the ability to manage negotiations and close agreements.
  • Proficiency in property market research, rental benchmarking, and basic financial understanding related to leasing performance.
  • Ability to prepare, review, and manage leasing documents, tenancy agreements, and related administrative records with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage tenants, agents, and internal stakeholders professionally.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads, follow-ups, and deadlines.
  • Comfort with using office productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software) and property management systems.
  • Diploma or degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, with prior experience in leasing or property management as an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Greater Alor Setar, with flexibility to support peak-period activities and property events.
